If you want to add a favorite-icon to your blogger blog but don't know how to do it, you've come to the right place. We'll show you how to add a favorite icon to a Blogger blog in this session.
First, we must learn some fundamental information about "Fav-icon," which is also known as a shortcut icon, website icon, URL symbol, and so on. The fav-icon is essentially displayed on the web browser title bar, and in some browsers, it also appears in the address bar; it functions as the identity of your website. The fav-icon is very useful in attracting user attention.
Blogger.com has its own fav-icon icon, which you may locate in the title bar of your browser. You can also use a custom fav-icon icon, such as a snapshot of your blog logo design or any other image.
You can also create your own fav-icon using any photo editing software such as Photoshop, Paint.net, or other similar programs; however, keep one thing in mind: try to make it professional and unique. Once you've created your fav-icon image, resize it to this size (16x16), (32x32), or (48x28), and save it as a "your-image.PNG" file.
Once you've created your favorite icon, it's time to add it to your blogger blog. There are two ways to do this, and we'll go over both of them.
"Adding a Favorite Icon to a Layout" is one method.
Log in to your blogger account and proceed to Weblog>Layout>Fav-icon to add fav-icon to your blogger layout. Click on edit to bring up a window where you may explore your image and save it.
2 "Manually Adding Fav-icon" method
To begin, we must upload the favorite-icon image to our blogger blog. To do so, create a new post, upload an image, right-click on your favorite-icon image, and select copy link location, then save your post as a draft.
Now we need to add a link tag > in our HTML head tag to go to > Blogger > Template > Edit HTML, which will open a code editor. Click anywhere in the editor box and press CTRL + F, which will bring up a small search box in the top right corner of the editor box, where we can search for the following code.
<head>
Once you've located the head tag, copy and paste the following code, replacing the URL with the "your image URL" from your draft post. Note: In the href field, paste the URL of your favicon image.
a link with the rel="icon" attribute
type="image/png"
href="Paste your Favicon image URL here"> href="Paste your Favicon image URL here">
Once you've pasted the above code into your template and replaced the href URL, save it and you're done!
