1 Make a real phone call.

Your headline should describe the nature of your activity. So, to make it easier for your customer to understand what you do, strive to be as specific as possible.
That's no longer the case.
This isn't always the case with Twitter. Make the headline more professional.
If you're good at creating ebooks, for example, call yourself a "ebook maker" rather than just a "writer." Instead of "web developer," try "wordpress plugin developer."
If you keep it to a single page, you'll have a better chance of being noticed on a large platform like Upwork.

Avoid writing your freelancer profile as if it were a web page on a corporate website, and avoid describing yourself in 1/3-character as if you were narrating a movie.

Instead, I'd like you to go into private mode. Consider that you're writing this bio to send to a friend. Not a close friend or a recruiting manager, but someone you don't know very well.
Something along those lines.
I wouldn't call that a proper bio, but it gets the job done.
Your customers aren't interested in your hobbies or long-term objectives. As a result, keep the non-public information to a bare minimum. You're creating a freelancer profile, not a profile for online dating. Also, try to keep the description to under two hundred words.

Upload a visually appealing image, write a thorough description of the assignment, and add a link to the source.
Use a domain like behance to upload your work and honestly include URLs in your freelancer profile bio if you're trying to construct a profile on an outstanding platform that doesn't have a portfolio phase.
#7 Participate in social media
Upwork allows you to connect your social media accounts and portfolios to your freelancing profile.
Even though the links in your social profiles will not be visible to your clients, it is critical that you connect at least one of your social profiles to the platform because it allows upwork to better understand you and provide a more personalized experience by displaying more relevant jobs in the "discover work" section.
#8 Although talent assessments aren't required, you should take them if you can because "the more relevant tests you skip, the more professional you appear."
At least, that's what the website for Upwork states. However, it is unimportant how many tests you pass on Upwork. Patrons are unconcerned about those tests since they are unfit for true hard work.
